Just two weeks after being forced
to pull out of a Bantamweight fight due to weight cutting issues,
Aspen Ladd will replace an injured Holly Holm against Norma Dumont
in this weekend's UFC Fight Night: Ladd vs. Dumont. In the
first half of this week's show we preview that (now) Featherweight
fight, as well as the rest of the card.
Then in the second half of the show, we discuss the week in MMA
news, including the death of Justin Thornton following his BKFC
fight, the arrests of Luis Pena and Chuck LIddell, Kevin Holland
stopping a car theft, the Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament,
and the results of UFC Fight Night: Dern vs.
Rodriguez.
Finally, in our Hammer History segment, we look back 500 episodes to early December 2011, including Georges St-Pierre's injury, the announcement of UFC on Fox 2, and Jon Jones vs. Lyoto Machida.
